Pre-selection:

 
  • Disease-free - monodon broodstock from Mozambique has no MBV, WSSV, TSV, YHV.
  • Size - females range from 120 to 150 grams
  • Condition - unstressed and undamaged


Broodstock Conditioning:

 
  • Conditioning period - 4 days minimum
  • Water quality - flow-through, treated and filtered water

 

 



Packing and Shipping:

 
  • Water temperature - 20 degrees Celsius
  • Water volume - 10 liters per bag
  • Bag Protection - rostrum covered with rubber tube
  • Females per bag - 4 (120-150 grams each)
  • Males per bag - 5 (80-100 grams each)
  • Ice - two ice packs per bag
  • Bags and boxes - two bags per box
